How do I know which Category to enter in?
The Categories for The Paperless Choice Challenge are based on the size of your organization’s budget. The judges reserve the right to modify category definitions based on contest distribution.
The Small Organization category includes organizations with an annual budget of $1,000,000 or less.
The Medium Organization category includes organizations with an annual budget of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
The Large Organization category includes organizations with an annual budget of $5,000,000 or more.

If we are not measuring ROI, can we still enter our campaign?
While the goal of the Challenge is to reward measurable and replicable campaigns, we recognize that some of the digital fundraising tools are new and on the cutting edge. Try to quantify results as much as possible.
If we have never used direct mail as part of our mix, how will that effect the judging of our digital campaign?
The goal of the Paperless Challenge is to showcase and reward successful digital fundraising in order to help all nonprofits move away from paper mailings. While “Ability to act as a replacement for postal mailings” is one of the judging criteria, if your organization is not in the mail, you’ve already met that criteria.
Is this contest open to international organizations?
Yes. The Paperless Choice Challenge is open to both US and internationally based organizations.
